A lifelong admirer of film, João sees cinema as both art and language—the most powerful way to communicate emotions and ideas. Recently debuting as a director, he is eager to merge his analytical background with creative vision, exploring stories with precision and heart. Beyond directing, João is also a learning editor, continuously honing his craft to bring narratives to life through the rhythm and texture of the cut. Above all, he is most excited to partake in his favorite thing: cinema itself.
